I am constantly blown away with the size of peoples hearts. I love to meet other people who have a heart to serve people in need. Please continue to pray for those who lost so much from the tornados, but while you do that get involved to make a difference. If you aren't familiar with my mother, Cathy Moreland's, story she lost everything a year ago in the floods here in Nashville. When I was talking to her about what she went through when we were planning this outreach she teared up telling me how much it meant to have someone she didn't even know do so much for her during a time she was in need. We also talked about how people were there right after with supplies and it took the burden away of trying to go shopping. Let me tell you that going to get groceries with someone for the first time after they loose everything is an emotional experience. As they go down the aisle saying I just bought that. So Allegre, KY you are making a huge difference in the lives of the people in Alabama. God bless you guys!

Tonight I am a Kentucky Fan!
Tonight I am definitely celebrating Kentucky. April Holleman has been contacted through facebook by a friend in KY about April's post on collecting items for her hometown. The collections in KY started with a women's bible study group growing to six different churches collecting items. The town of Allegre, KY about the size of Phil Campbell, AL has stepped up big time. They have raised a large amount of money and going shopping for families who have some specific needs. They are getting a donation of water bottles that the total cost is around $700. This should be around 250 cases of water!! Plus they have a ton of various supplies and clothing donated. They are renting a uhaul to drive everything to us this week and we will drive it down Friday night. This is a huge donation and we absolutely love the community of Allegre, KY. You guys are awesome and are helping so many families with your generosity. I can't wait to meet you guys this week!
